Turn your 2D window into a 3D artistic window. Using the Magic Embossing Tools with the Magic Copper Kits you can form images in 3D before soldering them to your project. The Magic Embossing Tools include 1 large ball and 1 small ball tool for contouring and one stylus.
One of many methods of use is to lay the metal (for example the Magic Copper Sheet) on a resilient surface (Styrofoam or rubber mat). Trace or draw your pattern on to the metal surface. Using the Magic Embossing Tools, push and crease lines and shapes into the metal for a 3D relief of the pattern. Trim the edges of the pattern and solder it to your art work.
Works great as copper overlay in stained glass projects and/or encased in fused projects. |
