Eastman is a family owned business with its roots in New Jersey and corporate headquarters in Southern California. Eastman has endeavored to introduce innovative tools and supplies for the glass artist and craftsman.

We've been involved in the glass and craft industry for over 35 years. Several years ago, we developed Color Magic™ stains because there were no color stains for metal. We were looking for color patinas for lead, brass, and zinc channeling so that we could make color coordinated frames and lamp bases, filigrees, and lead castings.

In testing the colors for the metal, we found that its formula was ideal for glass and other surfaces as well. We introduced the Magic Outlining Pens as a tool for drawing or applying fine lines for details with Color Magic™ stains.

Color Magic™ Stains won the award for "Best Product" at the Art Glass Suppliers Association, International Trade Show in 1995.
